I strive to build solutions that reduce friction, automate tedium, and allow users to focus on what matters.
I have worked across the stack, starting with front-end development to back-end systems using Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP, and SQL. I have spent the past 6 years building and maintaining cloud-native services with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS, VPC, IAM, EC2, Step Functions, and more. The systems I helped build and actively maintain in the Cyber Division at Capital One process tens-of-millions of records on a nightly basis and focus on identity and access management security.
I am inquisitive by nature and enjoy learning new technologies and techniques. I am passionate about building efficient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions that solve real-world problems, especially related to creative tools and workflows.
When not coding, I enjoy drawing portraits in graphite, playing with my 3 dogs, or traveling with my wife.
